Martin Elliott:
Needing little introduction to Selsey audiences as founder of its newly-formed chamber choir, co-leader of the Selsey Gramophone Society and music director of the town’s Jubilee contribution “Shifting Shingle” in 2022, Martin has had a long and varied career in the professional world of singing. Trained at Westminster Abbey, Christ Church, Oxford and the Guildhall School of Music, he formed several vocal groups for UK and international performances, specialising in baroque and contemporary music, while building a career as a singing teacher. Along with European appearances, he created special relationships with arts organizations in New Zealand, Australia and Canada, performing and giving lectures and masterclasses. His ambition is to run an international music festival and masterclasses in Selsey’s very own Pavilion Theatre. |
